Vincent focuses on advising and defending individuals and companies in complex white collar criminal matters. He represents clients in investigations and trial proceedings before prosecuting authorities and criminal courts. A particular focus of his practice is advising and representing companies and their executives in connection with criminal allegations and liability issues related to ESG matters, including greenwashing allegations and environmental criminal law. In addition, he regularly advises and represents Austrian and international companies in civil disputes, particularly in the enforcement and defense of damages, warranty and product liability claims. Representative matters Vincent has handled include the defense of Austria’s leading construction company in criminal proceedings related to the Austrian “construction cartel”; the representation of an Austrian real estate investor in criminal proceedings concerning the alleged bribery of Austria’s former Vice Chancellor; the representation of the chairman of the supervisory board of an international corporation in criminal proceedings in connection with fraud allegations following a Post-M&A dispute; and defending a leading international medical device manufacturer against product liability claims.
