Andreas is a founding partner of the firm and a former federal public prosecutor at the Central Public Prosecutor’s Office for Combatting Economic Crime and Corruption. He is one of Austria’s leading dispute resolution lawyers, with a practice spanning white collar crime defense, civil litigation, liability claims, and large-scale national and international asset recovery, including matters in the billions.
Holding both a doctorate in law (Dr. iur.) and a degree in business administration (Mag. rer. soc. oec.), Andreas combines deep knowledge of the Austrian public prosecution system with strong corporate and commercial understanding. He also advises regularly on sanctions law and export control, and has built particular expertise advising clients in the defense industry.
Andreas has been ranked by Chambers and Partners Europe continuously since 2020 (Band 3, White-Collar Crime, Austria, 2026 edition) and is recognized by Legal 500 as a leading lawyer for White-Collar Crime. Der Standard has also named him among Austria’s best lawyers in white collar crime, and for the third year running, Trend magazine has ranked him among the country’s leading white collar crime lawyers.
Andreas founded and hosts the Sanktionsrechtskonferenz (Sanctions Law Conference) at the Universität für Weiterbildung Krems, where he also teaches across several programs, including the Supervisory Board Program (Aufsichtsratslehrgang) and the Bachelor’s program in Financial Law. His academic research at the university focuses on search and seizure law (Sicherstellung und Beschlagnahme). He lectures regularly at the Austrian Academy of Certified Public Accountants, is a frequent interview partner for national media on criminal law and sanctions topics, and publishes regularly on white collar crime, civil litigation, and sanctions law.
